Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a flagship skill training initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Launched with the aim to transform rural India by fostering inclusive economic growth, DDU-GKY focuses on the youth from poor families aged between 15 and 35 years. The program seeks to provide them with market-relevant training, equipping them with skills that meet the demands of domestic and global employers. In addition to imparting hard skills, the scheme emphasizes on soft skills, English proficiency, and digital literacy, ensuring comprehensive employability.
